Dr. Penberthy, MD, MBA, is an academic radiation oncologist, on faculty at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was formerly on faculty at the Penn State College of Medicine and is former Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Dr. Penberthy has over 3 decades of clinical experience, and has been in the clinical practice of oncology since 1998 as a private practitioner and academic physician.
